We learn most effectively by doing. When trying to understand technology or a process a static diagram can be useful. However, an interactive infographic or game simulation can increase engagement and understanding of the relationship between different parts. Rather than view each part in isolation, understanding results from knowing how parts work together. To quote Aristotle: ‘The whole is something besides the parts’.
