Solar Explorer

When playing Solar Explorer, you are the pilot of the spaceship SES Horizon and can travel between ten celestial destinations. Depart our home planet Earth to take a tour of our solar system. Visit the other classical planets, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, the dwarf planet Pluto and the sun. Select your destination from a horizontal panel, or the navigation map. When you begin fuel is at 100%. Some fuel will be used during each journey, but SES Horizon refuels when it reaches a planet.

Solar Explorer Game The Solar Explorer game combines engaging gameplay, with fuel management and quizzes, using educational content based on information from NASA and ESA data. When you first open the game you will be presented with a tutorial screen. Press the LAUNCH MISSION button to start playing the game. During game play use controls in the top right hand corner of the game board to open and close a navigation map. information panel and turn sound on or off.

Numonex

Playing Numonex might improve your problem solving skills. Players are shown a row of numbers, that follow a sequence determined by a secret mathematical rule. The object of the game is to determine the next two missing numbers in each sequence, by finding the secret rule before the time runs out and within three attempts. Numonex has five progressively more difficult levels; Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert and Genius. View the How To Play guide to learn more about the type of calculations used at each level.

Numonex Game Select one or two player mode and then press the Start Game button. Buttons in the top left of the game board, under the level selector, can be used to open the ‘How To Play Guide’, turn sound on or off and switch between light and dark mode. Each of the first five tiles contain a number. The last two tiles contain a question mark. Select a tile and enter numbers using the on screen number pad, or your keyboard, before pressing the Check Answer button.

The faster you enter correctly checked numbers and the fewer attempts used the higher your score. Viewing a clue might help you to solve a number sequence, but reduces your score. To move to the next question press the Next Sequence button. When you have completed five questions and press the Next Sequence button, the game ends you will be show a results screen, with your score. Press the Play Again button to close the screen and continue playing Numonex, or visit other pages on the CraftBook Magazine website.
